Victorian Window Wells
Our window wells were added to an 1886 Victorian Queen Anne home that received a new foundation and three large windows. Instead of placing cheap metal window wells that would not have matched the home's design, the owners chose Wilbert's custom precast window wells, stating they were "more in line with our vision, and when we finished with them, they look as if they've been part of this house for it's entire existence."
To achieve this look, the customer cut 1/4" brick veneers from the original foundation bricks and attached them to the new foundation. They then bricked around the sides and tops of the window wells to keep the same look, and stained the precast rock texture and the grout texture to match the grout for the real bricks.
