Setting a monument requires careful attention to detail and the use of high-quality materials. Because we’re committed to ensuring your memorial is built to last – utilizing our premium granite and experienced craftsmanship – the setting process is a significant investment. We only produce products that we are proud of, and to ensure complete satisfaction, we need to fully understand the history of the piece’s construction. Please contact us for a detailed quote based on your specific monument and location.

Our process begins with your initial inquiry, whether placed via email, phone, or in person. We require a 50% deposit to initiate your order, and the remaining balance is due upon completion of the design process and approval of the final sketch. Within 72 hours, you’ll receive a detailed sketch illustrating your memorial’s design, allowing you the opportunity to request any necessary adjustments before we proceed to production. We accept credit cards and checks for full payment.

Laser etching is a modern technology used to create detailed images on granite memorials. This process allows for the reproduction of high-quality photographs, portraits, and other designs onto the stone, providing a level of clarity and detail that traditional engraving methods cannot achieve.

The technology works by using a high-powered laser to remove the polished surface of the granite, creating unpolished dots that form the image. Each image is made up of thousands or even millions of these tiny dots, resulting in a photo-quality finish.

Laser etching is particularly effective on solid black granite, as it provides the best contrast for the images. However, it is also possible to use laser etching on other colors of granite by adding a black granite insert.

When considering laser etching for a memorial, it is important to provide a high-resolution image to ensure the best quality result. Extra editing may be required for lower quality images, and there may be additional charges for this service.

Laser etching is a durable method of personalizing memorials, with the images remaining clear and visible for a long time, potentially outlasting the stone itself.
