These photos show a precast doghouse-style utility vault installed over an existing 60-inch concrete interceptor sewer line for the City of Spokane. This major interceptor line connects directly to the Spokane Wastewater Treatment Plant, making uninterrupted operation critical during construction.
By utilizing a doghouse vault, the contractor was able to install the new precast structure without interrupting flow—keeping the interceptor line fully active throughout the project. This minimized downtime, reduced risk, and allowed for a more efficient installation process.

As part of a major sewer extension project in Wenatchee, WA, this custom precast concrete wet well was designed and installed to meet the demands of deep utility infrastructure. Measuring 21 feet deep, the structure was engineered for strength, reliability, and efficient installation.
The main wet well structure measured 12 feet wide by 14 feet long, with a total weight of approximately 39,098 pounds (over 19 tons). Due to its size and weight, each precast section was delivered on a flatbed trailer and assembled on-site using a crane.
