This project involved replacing a failing hand-stacked retaining wall with a more durable and structurally sound precast gravity wall system. The new wall features a Cobblestone block face, offering both improved stability and a visually appealing finish that blends naturally with the surrounding landscape.
The gravity wall was constructed using 55 engineered precast blocks, covering a total area of 308 square feet. This modern system provides long-term structural support while minimizing future maintenance needs — a significant upgrade from the original hand-stacked solution.
Project Highlights:
- Wall Type: Precast gravity retaining wall
- Block Face: Cobblestone texture
- Square Footage: 308 sq ft
- Number of Blocks: 55
- Key Benefits: Increased durability, structural integrity, low maintenance, enhanced aesthetics
